Would I look good with short hair? Pics included!?

I keep wanting to cut my hair shorter but I am self-concious of giving myself a spiked style (which would be the only reason I'd cut my hair short) because I'm incredibly aware of my rather... er.. oversized forehead, and my long hair seems to hide it better
